fingers crossed

shhhh...i think i'm out of experimental purgatory. I can't say this too loud our I might be shoved back there on some new task. For a brief second it appears my simple and stupid freshman chemistry issue is over after 3.5 weeks of purgatory...not sure totally...but....shhhhh....maybe. Will know more soon. And by the way, the 'answer' to the problem...very bizarre for such a seemingly simple problem.
